Abstract

The article discusses modern approaches to the use of digital technologies for modeling oil spill response systems in the Laptev Sea. The relevance of the work is due to the rather high risk of oil and petroleum product spills. Platform models have been created in the form of ships and aircraft (helicopter), equipment including oil collectors, booms, shore cleaners, personnel (ship and helicopter crews, rescue team). The results of the work demonstrate the potential of integrated digital modeling to increase emergency response readiness in the waters of the Russian Federation.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of an automated system for assessing the effectiveness of cleaning measures for different types of environmental pollution. The need for standardized tools for selecting optimal cleaning methods in emergency situations and during regular monitoring is investigated. A comparative analysis of modern automation approaches, including machine learning, fuzzy set theory, and neural networks, is presented. A multi-level algorithm has been developed, supplemented with a calculation mechanism for insufficient initial data and a rating scale. The software solution is implemented in Python with GUI on Tkinter and DBMS SQLite. A mathematical model for calculating the effectiveness of a purifier through a weighted sum of nine factors is proposed. The system is focused on use by environmental protection organizations, emergency units and scientific institutions.

Abstract

The article examines the relationship between the level of development of communication skills and the academic motivation of higher education students. The relevance of studying the relationship between communication skills and academic motivation lies in the need for a holistic approach to student personality development. It can be assumed that these two aspects are closely interconnected: well-developed communication skills may contribute to increased motivation (for example, through successful interaction experiences), while high motivation, in turn, may encourage students to develop communication skills in order to achieve academic and professional goals.  The study covers students from the first to the fifth year. Based on testing conducted, indicators of communication skills, the overall level of academic motivation, as well as its individual components (professional, academic-cognitive, social), are analyzed. The results indicate a predominantly high level of both communication skills and general academic motivation across all years; however, heterogeneous dynamics are observed in the structure of motivation as students progress through their studies. Possible reasons for the identified features and their significance for the educational process are discussed.

Abstract

This article examines the contribution of student volunteering to the development of competencies in diplomatic protocol and etiquette. The study focuses on the case of the International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD), where volunteering has become an integral part of the educational process and practical training for future diplomats. Through qualitative analysis, document review, and participant observation, the paper identifies the key soft skills and protocol knowledge that student volunteers acquire during their participation in diplomatic events. The article demonstrates that student volunteering not only enhances academic learning but also serves as a mechanism for instilling values of international communication, cultural awareness, and respect for protocol norms.

Abstract

When improving legal communication, it is important to identify the psycholinguistic features of legal vocabulary and take into account such phenomena as perception and cognitive modification of terms. It is also important not to lose sight of psycholinguistic features (e.g. semantic analysis, associative field, language stereotypes) in order to "preserve the principle of comprehensibility". To summarize, it should be noted that it is extremely important to identify and explain the psycholinguistic characteristics of legal terms, as well as to identify the influence of legal vocabulary on the features of expression and understanding of legal norms (e.g. expansion of conceptual boundaries, semantic activation).

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of modern teaching methods in economics and law, which transform abstract science into a vital tool. It prepares future economists not as narrow specialists, but as adaptable, financially literate, and critically thinking citizens capable of making informed decisions—from personal financial to socio-political. Today's labor market demands that graduates not only understand economic and legal theory but also apply it in practice: analyze real-life situations, make informed decisions, and evaluate their consequences. Traditional teaching methods, focused on memorization, perform this task poorly. This necessitates the search for new, more effective pedagogical approaches. This article examines modern teaching methods.

Abstract

The problem of intelligent data analysis in distributed information systems under asynchronous exchange between nodes is considered. The analysis is performed under conditions of the absence of global synchronization and partial observability of states. The system is described as a directed graph with data streams  and transmission delays . An algorithmic approach is proposed, based on local processing and subsequent aggregation of results under constraints on data consistency. A quality criterion of analysis  is formalized, taking into account state desynchronization.

Exceptional situations related to message loss and out-of-order delivery are examined. The computational complexity and robustness of the algorithms with respect to increasing system distribution are evaluated. The results are intended for application in distributed analytical and control systems.
